Powhatan Pamunkey Ancestors

Lately my research has led to the Jamestown Settlement, and their native neighbors.

Names: Morris, West, Stell/Still, Malone, and Harrison — among others.

These native’s descendants migrated southward, and became members of the Catawba or Cherokee nations. As to which my ancestors identified? That remains to to be confirmed.

I have learned/confirmed several direct ancestors who lived at the Occonee River, one of whom farmed an island in the Occonee
